Australian Government - Carer Gateway

Carer Gateway (CG) provides services and support to unpaid carers across Australia. CG staff will match you with best help for your needs.

The support available is as follows:

• Counselling – if you are feeling stressed, anxious, sad or frustrated, a counsellor can talk with you either in person or over the phone in the comfort of your own home

• Connect with other carers - this can be in your local area or on the online carer forum

• Respite - emergency or planned care is available if you hurt yourself or just need a rest.
